However, Armor King saw a new fighter with a jaguar mask step into the wrestling ring in order to save the orphanage, and decided to train him to become the second King. The characters are listed in order of the games they debuted in. A few characters have supernatural origin, such as Devil and Ogre, while animal characters like Kuma the bear provide comic relief. In the story mode of the game, each character generally has their own personal reasons for entering the tournament and competing for the prize. Only six characters have appeared in all six main Tekken installments to date: Heihachi Mishima, Kuma, King, Paul Phoenix, Yoshimitsu and Nina Williams. Kazuya Mishima, Lei Wulong, Anna Williams, Jack, Marshall Law and Lee Chaolan also come close having appeared in five installments. She is a playable character only in the console version of the game. Whether at Kazuyas discretion or Annas own volition, Anna becomes a bodyguard for Kazuya, along with Ganryu and Bruce Irvin. It is likely that Annas interference prevents her sister from carrying out her contract, and Nina is later captured by Mishima Zaibatsu forces and used in Doctor Boskonovitch s cryogenics (cold-sleep) research. Learning about this, Anna volunteers to be another test subject, requesting that she be woken in the future at the same time as Nina. Her reasons for doing so remain ambiguous, though the game suggests that Anna would have felt lonely without Nina andor jealous at the thought of her sisters youth being preserved. Nina also begins to suffer side effects from the cold-sleep, resulting in long term memory loss. In an act of compassion, Anna sets out to stop Nina from once again becoming an assassin, and to help her recover her memory loss. For reasons unknown, Nina eventually resumes her life as an assassin and loses touch with Anna. Anna retaliates, and the reunion descends into a gunfight which lasts for days. The sisters eventually reach a stalemate and agree to settle things for good at The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5. The two eventually meet and fight, but Nina wins and quickly goes into hiding after the tournaments conclusion. She enters the sixth Iron Fist tournament to intercept her sister, who enters with the same intent as Anna. Her rivalry with Nina is also one of the films subplots, only with a few minor differences, such as the two vying for the attention of Lee Chaolan (their unfaithful contractor) and Anna being responsible for the death of their father. During her fight with Nina, Anna is killed by a biologically enhanced dinosaur-like being. She also appears in the live-action film Tekken portrayed by Marian Zapico. Anna appears also in the 2011 CGI movie Tekken: Blood Vengeance, where shes voiced by Tara Platt in English and by Akeno Watanabe in Japanese. In the film she works under Kazuya Mishima and forces Ling Xiaoyu to find Shin Kamiya who possesses and survived the M-cell experiment. One of his eyes accidentally got damaged during a fight with King. Armor King eventually disappeared from the official Lucha libre scene but showed unrivaled prowess in shady fights. Finding King distraught and drunk in an alleyway, he convinced him to get back into the spirit of fighting and enter the second tournament.
